On this page, you will find the school's summary development plan for music. At Lower Darwen Primary School, we use the Kapow music scheme to deliver our music curriculum. We also have weekly music assemblies to enhance our teaching and encourage a love for music and singing.
The school also offers music lessons in keyboards (taught by Mrs Kolosov) and guitar (taught by Mr Hesketh). These are free for pupils in receipt of Pupil Premium. The children showcase their talents in termly assemblies/concerts.
Mr Hesketh also leads the LDPS Choir at sing at events in school and also perform in the local community.
