School Uniform information
School Uniform is compulsory and being smart and proud of our appearance is embedded in our school rules can be found in our Behaviour for Learning policy. Listed below are our requirements.
Uniform can be purchased from our school administration officer Mrs Fish or ‘Grays’ in Blackburn.
Boys
White shirt
Blue school jumper
Grey trousers
Black Shoes (no trainers)
Girls
White blouse
Blue school jumper or cardigan
Grey skirt or trousers
Black shoes (no trainers)
In summer, girls may wear a blue and white gingham dress.
In September 2018, we introduced a school tie to the uniform. These can be purchased from Grays of Blackburn eithers as an elasticated or traditional tie. For Reception to Year 5, the tie is striped in the school colours of read and blue. Please note Year 6 pupils, have a specially designed tie to denote their status in school.
PE Kit: Blue or black shorts, with Navy blue/ dark t-shirt and pumps. Please note that trainers are only permitted for outdoor PE lessons. A school bag can be obtained from school. Please note, the school cannot accommodate large bags.
We expect all items of clothing including shoes and pumps to be named.
Children are not allowed to wear any jewellery, but stud earrings are permitted. They must be removed for PE. If they cannot be removed, they must be covered with a plaster. Please avoid having your child’s ears pierced during term time. Summer holidays are the best time! Do not allow your child to bring any valuables into school i.e. mobile phones.
Please: send all PE kit in a draw-string bag (which is labelled clearly with your child’s name) and ensure that your child has their kit in school at all times.
