Girls' football tournament at St Bedes

On very cold evening, the Y5/6 girls' team took part in the annual football tournament at St Bedes. LDPS played three games; losing two narrowly and drawing the other match (1-1). More importantly, the girls played with a smile and a great sporting attitude. Our new kit, sponsored by charity, Maddi's Butterflies, attracted admiring glances from the organisers of the tournament and other schools. Well done, girls on a great effort.
